Terry Cook provided Cost Management services for The Halo Building, Europe’s largest pathology laboratory and the administrative headquarters of Health Services Laboratories, a partnership between The Doctors Laboratory, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The works incorporated the following facilities:
• An automated sample tracking system spanning five storeys, which was integrated within the architecture, structure and engineering of the building;
• Centralised molecular suite,
• Two containment level three laboratories each measuring 80 square metres;
• M&E Services upgrades to provide resilience for 24 hr working
• One of the largest automated labs in Europe,
• Cellular Pathology,
• Offices for Finance Team and TDL Executive Offices.
