Terry Cook provided Cost Management services for the complex Cat A & B refurbishment in Fitzrovia, Central London.

The works incorporated complete replacement of all services installations to service new Histology, Blood Transfusion and Rapid Response labs.

The scheme also incorporates the introduction of new external risers, internal structural strengthening works, new dumb waiters and replacement of a passenger lift.

Adopting a two stage method of procurement, the contractor was integrated with the project team very early in the design process to assist with buildability and programming. Extensive opening up was undertaken to gain a thorough understanding of the condition of the building fabric.
