Axion House lies in the London Borough of Lewisham to the south of the River Ravensbourne. The proposals for the development include the demolition of the existing industrial buildings and the creation of a vibrant area of high quality homes, commercial spaces and public realm.
The development comprises a residential-led mixed use development with two linked buildings providing 141 residential units, and commercial use at ground floor.
The energy strategy for the scheme is key to delivering a sustainable development. A centralised plant area for the provision of heat and power will ensure the most efficient way of delivering energy.
Accertum worked with Urban Delivery and LB Lewisham in reviewing and agreeing the affordable housing contribution for the development.
